This was Dike's first competitive appearance in nearly nine months, as he had not played since April 2023 due to an ACL tear. He was named in Carlos Corberan's starting lineup and remained on the pitch for 45 minutes before being substituted for Akeel Higgins at half-time.

After registering a comfortable 4-1 win over Aldershot Town, West Brom will now shift their focus to the Championship where they are scheduled to take on Blackburn Rovers on January 13.
