Wijnaldum netted an impressive 11 goals last term for Newcastle, albeit his stats are slightly skewed by a four-goal haul against fellow relegation-sufferers, Norwich.
Ryder’s revelation that Spurs and Everton are interested in the playmaker are backed up by reports claiming that the Londoners see him as an option, albeit not at £25m, while new Toffees chief, Ronald Koeman, is believed to be eager to link up with his compatriot at Goodison Park.
