Ever since the Hollywood owners took over the Welsh side in 2021, virtually everything they have touched has turned to gold. Their show has helped increase their profile worldwide, both teams have achieved promotions, and now forward Hughes has lauded the North American duo for making her and her team-mates "feel like it’s about us".

She told US Weekly: “Not only are they focusing on the men’s side of the football, but they’ve also helped us women a lot by being there for us. They’ve come to events. They’ve even watched us play some of our games.
“They’re just genuinely nice people who are really down to earth and want to know about your story. And it’s not about them. They make us feel like it’s about us.”
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Since the takeover, Reynolds and McElhenney have poured funds into the women's team, and that has bore fruit. The women's team has become a big part of their TV show, too, particularly in the last two seasons, as they got promoted from the Adran North League, to competing in the Adran Premier. With owners like these two, they are putting Wrexham's women's team on the map and they appear to be on an upward trajectory.
