Arsene Wenger has routinely insisted Jack Wilshere will get chances to impress in the Premier League this season, having been mostly reserved for European and cup action throughout the opening months of 2017/18.
Wenger still seems reluctant to throw him into the highly physical, highly-competitive Premier League after the England international suffered another serious injury at the end of last term.
