Liverpool’s front three are arguably the deadliest strike force in European football at the moment.

However, despite the fact that Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane scored three goals between them on Wednesday evening against Red Bull Salzburg, there were some issues that the pundits on ESPN wanted to bring up with the attackers.
The ESPN pundits seemingly weren’t happy with the amount of flair the attackers show when they’re going forward as they complain about their flicks and their scoops.
The argument was that they will eventually come up short playing like that.
“It’s dangerous when you’re coaching a team, and you’ve got a front line like that,” Steve Nicol said.
“It’s only when you’ve gone two or three games as a unit without producing you say ‘right enough of that nonsense, get back to basics and build yourselves up again.’”
Another pundit explained that he was concerned about their games against Chelsea and Salzburg due to the number of flicks and tricks the frontline were trying.
It’s hard to really take this argument seriously as the Reds won both of the aforementioned games, scoring six goals in the process.
It certainly seems as if these ‘experts’ are just being controversial for controversies sake, as no self-respecting football fan could criticise Liverpool’s front three.
