Guler and Endrick have struggled to find regular playing time under Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti, this season. The former was expected to find a prominent squad role after he turned heads at the EURO 2024 with Turkey. However, he has played less than 1,000 minutes across all competitions.
Endrick, on the other hand, arrived from Palmeiras and has already scored six goals for Los Blancos, four of them in the Copa del Rey and one each on debut in La Liga and Champions League. He, just like Guler, has found minutes hard to come by, having to compete for a spot with the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Jr., Rodrygo, and Brahim Diaz, all world-class names in their own right.
