Southampton’s 3-2 defeat against Fulham signalled Mark Hughes’ side’s seventh defeat of the Premier League season so far, meaning they now sit just one point above the bottom of the table.
Despite the result, Saints fans can take some solace from the fact that their side was able to carve out goalscoring opportunities. On top of that, the performance of summer signing Stuart Armstrong will have delighted the visiting fans at Craven Cottage.
The Playmaker FC squad decided to wind-up some unsuspecting Brazil fans at the Emirates on Saturday night. Watch the hilarious results in the video below…
The 26-year-old scored a brace to keep the away side in the game. His second goal was a spectacular hit from the edge of the box that’s sure to live long in the memory. Whilst it wasn’t enough to earn his side three points to take back to St Mary’s Stadium, the 9-cap Scotland international will be pleased to have finally got off the mark for his new club.
If the former Celtic midfielder can keep this kind of form up, then Armstrong could be a bright spark in what has otherwise been a miserable campaign for the south coast club so far.
