Loads of Sunderland fans have been reacting to a tweet from Lyle Taylor, who appeared to criticise the Black Cats’ owners.
The war of words has continued between Taylor and Sunderland owner Stewart Donald, after the Charlton striker opened up on his failed move to Wearside last week.
Taylor told The Sun: “There were things said and done by those above the manager (Jack Ross). That ended up why I didn’t go there and that’s why I play for Charlton and not Sunderland.
“At Charlton, the club were clear with everything. It was like, ‘This is what we’re going to do, this is what we want and this is what you want. Here’s the deal, if you like it, sign it. If you don’t, don’t sign it.’

“But, at Sunderland, it was wishy washy. We asked them for something while negotiating the contract and they said, ‘We can’t really give you that because if you don’t do that, are you going to pay us money back?’
Taylor complained that the club had quibbled over a small hotel bill, a claim that Donald disputed when speaking on the Roker Report podcast this week.
“That’s a little bit insulting. If that’s how Lyle Taylor feels, genuinely, then that’s how he feels. My personal view, I’m not really interested in Lyle Taylor if I’m honest,” Donald said.
“My view of it is, his family are all from London, he got offered a lot more to be up here, and still chose not to come, and did he not come because he didn’t like the people around the manager? I’m not sure about that.”
Taylor has now responded again, tweeting that the Black Cats are lying about the hotel bill dispute, and hinting that a goal bonus was what stifled the move.
The 29 year-old certainly made the right choice with the Addicks, bagging 25 goals en route to a dramatic play-off final win, but Black Cats fans are not impressed by his desire to continually put them down.
