Palmer picked up a muscular injury ahead of the Blues' Premier League loss against Arsenal before the international break. The England star pulled out of international duty for the Three Lions though has been hopeful of returning against Tottenham on April 3.

The reported this Thursday that Palmer was considered a doubt to play Spurs, though 24 hours later revealed the playmaker was back in training and in line to make a return.
