Sancho joined on loan in JanuaryPermanent deal difficultHas two Bundesliga goalsWHAT HAPPENED?
England international Sancho returned to Signal Iduna Park in the January transfer window after an ill-fated stint at Manchester United and has scored two goals in 12 Bundesliga appearances. He also played a starring role in Dortmund's 1-0 Champions League semi-final first leg win over Paris Saint-Germain. As such, Florian Plettenberg reports that BVB are eager to keep the winger beyond this season and are eyeing another loan.

A permanent deal may be out of the question, though, as Dortmund do not possess that kind of financial power. Sancho is still only 24 and his United contract runs until 2026. However, if Erik ten Hag remains as manager, the Red Devils may be willing to enter negotiations with Dortmund – for either a permanent or loan deal – after the pair's infamous fallout at the start of the campaign.
WHAT'S BEEN SAID?
Dortmund's sporting director Sebastian Kehl said: "His [Sancho] qualities don't need to be described. He has regained his smile in the six months with us. We will try everything. But Manchester United also sees how well he is playing at the moment. Maybe they also want to sell him for profit. Or bring him back."

Sancho will not be thinking about his future just yet with a huge semi-final second leg in Paris on the horizon. Dortmund travel to the French capital on Tuesday with a 1-0 advantage thanks to Nicklas Fullkrug's brilliant goal. Edin Terzic's side will go into the fixture brimming with even more confidence after claiming a 5-1 win over Augsburg yesterday, a match in which Sancho was rested.
