Former Manchester United winger Wilfried Zaha put in a man of the match performance and scored one goal as Crystal Palace beat Leicester City 3-0 at the King Power Stadium on Saturday, and Red Devils fans have urged their club to re-sign the 25-year-old.
United bought the forward from the Eagles in 2013, but he only made four appearances in all competitions before eventually moving back to Selhurst Park in a permanent deal two years later.
After missing six matches through injury earlier in the season in what was disastrous start to the campaign for the south London outfit, the Ivory Coast international’s return has proved to be the catalyst that has seen Palace climb off of the bottom and out of the relegation zone.
Zaha has now netted four goals and provided a further assist in 12 Premier League appearances this season, and Man United supporters have taken to social media to tell their club to bring the wide-man back to Old Trafford.
While one said he “would take Zaha back in a heartbeat”, another advised Mourinho to “sell Mkhitaryan and sign Zaha”.
