The British billionaire, who recently acquired a 25% stake in Manchester United, visited Old Trafford and the Carrington training base on Tuesday, according to . He was accompanied by INEOS director of sport Sir Dave Brailsford as the duo assessed the club's infrastructure. Brailsford had earlier attended United's Premier League matches against Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest in December.

Brailsford and Ratcliffe will also speak with manager Erik ten Hag and his coaching staff, although the meeting is expected to be scheduled at a later date. The Dutch manager's position has come under scrutiny after a series of poor performances but the Red Devils boss remains confident that he will continue as the head coach.
