Per The Sun, Spurs are considering a move to appoint Parker as Postecoglou's replacement this summer. And Spurs are now seemingly lining up alternatives.

Parker has guided Burnley back to the Premier League this season, and they could still win the Championship, which is said to have hugely impressed senior Spurs officials. Spurs want to appoint a manager who can play progressive football and blood younger players, two core principles of Parker's managerial style, but the former midfielder has had two ill-fated spells in the top-flight with both Fulham and Burnley.

The Sun quote a source who claims that Parker was almost appointed in 2021, when he was at Fulham, although they also claim that it may simply be too early for him to make the step into the Spurs dugout. Spurs have also been linked with the likes of Marco Silva and Andoni Iraola, of the Cottagers and Bournemouth respectively.
